Resource Table at Guru Nanak Foundation of
America
On Sunday, May 5, AAHI provided health education to
community members at the Guru
Nanak Foundation of America in Silver Spring. AAHI displayed materials on a
variety of topics at our Resource table, including breast cancer, hepatitis B,
osteoporosis, local resources, diabetes, heart health, and patient-physician
communication.

Active Aging Expo
The City of Gaithersburg, in partnership with the
Montgomery Village Foundation, Montgomery County Housing Opportunities
Commission, and Asbury Methodist Village, hosted its 5th
Annual Active Aging Expo on Monday, May 6. AAHI shared information on
different health topics and also offered carbon monoxide screenings to
attendees. Many participants who approached our table expressed their
appreciation for the educational materials available in multiple Asian
languages.
