Recap: DB Consulting 9th Annual Health & Wellness Fair

AAHI joined the DB Consulting Group and Lux Consulting Group, Inc. for their 9th Annual Health & Wellness Fair last Friday in Silver Spring. This free event focused on bringing men, women, and children together to promote health and well-being. Over 60 health organizations attended, providing health screenings, wellness and safety information, and fitness activities for the community. Some examples of screenings provided were: carbon monoxide screening, cholesterol checks, glaucoma testing, cancer screenings, and blood pressure checks.

AAHI provided general health information at our Resource Information Table. Our Wheel of Health Education was a popular hit among the community members who stopped by. They answered questions on local resources to win AAHI giveaways!
