End of FY13 Health Promoter Celebration!

AAHI has reached the end of another fiscal year! To commemorate the past year’s accomplishments, AAHI hosted our annual end-of-fiscal-year celebration for the Health Promoters. The theme of this year’s celebration was “Strength in Numbers” and how, as a collective team of culturally- and linguistically-competent health advocates, we are able to reach a number of diverse communities.

It was a fun evening celebrating the Health Promoters’ hard work and dedication. The celebration also featured an international pot-luck dinner, raffle drawings, and human bingo. We had special guests from the AAHI Steering Committee, Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, and Holy Cross Hospital to present certificates of appreciation to each Health Promoter.

Once again, thank you to all the Health Promoters - we deeply appreciate your commitment and passion to help build a healthier community!
