The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services' Asian American Health Initiative, in partnership with the African American Health Program (AAHP) and Latino Health Initiative (LHI), would like to invite you to join us for a free training workshop! This workshop is part of the Empowering Community Health Organizations (ECHO) Project 2016.
This free workshop is the second in our three-part series about health data. "Finding Census Data" will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm. A light dinner will be provided at 5:30 pm and the program will begin at 6:00 pm. Nesreen Khashan, Data Dissemination Specialist at the United States Census Bureau, will discuss the basics of how to find national, state, and local data from the Census. Participants will have the opportunity to explore and gain hands-on experience using American FactFinder.
Due to the activities in this workshop, space is very limited and no walk-ins will be accepted. Registration is required. Please RSVP by Wednesday, October 21, 2015. You can register online by clicking here or by calling Harihar Bhattarai, AAHI Program Assistant, at 240-777-4517.
If you have any questions, or if you are unable to register, please contact Mr. Bhattarai via telephone or email at Harihar.Bhattarai@montgomerycountymd.gov. We hope you join us in building a healthier community!
