The Intersection of Faith & Mental Health

To commemorate July as National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, the National Alliance on Mental Illness Montgomery County (NAMI MC) is hosting a panel discussion comprised of community and faith leaders from diverse groups to talk about the role of faith in access to mental health resources. Specifically, they will discuss how places of faith - especially in minority communities - are often the first point of contact when it comes to seeking this type of help.
