We joined the Rainbow Gardens Adult Day Health Care Center, along with the American Diversity Group, for their health fair in Gaithersburg. There were several vendors in attendance which provided free medical advice, education, and care such as ears/nose/throat check-ups, glaucoma eye exams, and dental hygiene information. Twenty-five people stopped by AAHI's Resource Information Table where we provided information on general health topics.

AAHI also assisted the Viet Nam Medical Assistance Program (VNMAP) with their Screening, Management, Awareness, and Solutions for Hepatitis B (SMASH-B) Results & Vaccination Day in Rockville. This is the second event in VNMAP's free hepatitis B education, screening, vaccination, and treatment referral program. Community members received their results from the hepatitis B screenings and if needed, they were able to receive free vaccinations! Afterwards, they attended an educational lecture on hepatitis B. AAHI also had their Resource Information Table set up which had information on general health topics as well as the Wheel of Health Education.
